Welcome To Mos Eisley

 

Hello.  If you have found your way to this place, then you are probably a friend or relative of mine, or you are here by accident, I invite you to stay awhile.

You must be tired after coming all this way.  Tatooine is, after all, on the outer rim. We are always trying to bring a new perspective to the universe, so sit down and relax.

I bet you didn’t know Mos Eisley had an arts and culture underground.  Well here it is.  Ya, this is all there is, and by underground, we mean literally, this place is under the hot, dry ground.

I can see you brought your own chair.  Stay in it and let your eyes do the work.  They can deceive you, but isn’t that why you came?  If you wanted reality you wouldn’t be in Mos Eisley.

AREAS OF INTEREST.

1. The Celluloid Dungeon (TM) -- Our dungeon is dedicated to finding and categorizing, cult films, and then hooking them up to a device, the Cultometer (TM), that proves there worth. The term cult covers a wide array, and is often thrown around too loosely.  Don’t be fooled by someone else’s definition of a cult film.  If Mos Eisley  says its a cult film, then its a cult film.  And remember, just because its a “cult”, doesn’t mean it’s a cult “classic”.

2. The Theater — We have  a theater. There are just a few shows in it right now, but we hope to add more in the future. Turn up your speakers all the way and place them next to your ears to get the true surround sound multiplex effect.

3. The Gallery — The Gallery has much to enjoy, with both photos and drawings, covering a variety of subjects.  The gallery images  are original to this site and products of the author who reserves all copyrights.  (Even the outer rim is not without some law.)

4. and The Rest… — We also have an in house critic, and a in-depth analysis section.  These things are wordy, and I only recommend them if you have a class report that you don’t feel like writing yourself.

If you can’t find what you’re looking for just ask.  We are glad to take suggestions.  We may not listen to those suggestions, but we will take them.

I know you’re tired and thirsty.  We have no drinks, we don’t have music either, but trust me, you don’t want to go to the cantina down the road.  They had two nasty incidents in one day.  A guy lost his arm, and another lost his life.

You can even bring your droids in here.
